What coaches and consultants need
Most work alone and have few appointment types: a free intro call, a session, perhaps a package. What matters is that interested people can book without a long exchange, that the video link is sent automatically and that your own calendar is right.
Nobody here needs a till or a staff rota. What counts is the number of appointment types in the free plan, the language of the booking page, the currency of the invoice and where the data is kept. The prices below come from the providers' pricing pages, as of 13 October 2026.
Calendly: the well-known default
Calendly is one of the best-known tools of its kind and connects to Google Calendar, Outlook and iCloud, as well as Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. Many of your clients have booked through Calendly before.
The free plan includes one event type and one calendar. Standard costs from USD 10 per seat a month billed yearly, in US dollars. Calendly is a US company and processes data in the United States.
Calenso: Swiss provider, prices on request
Calenso is a Swiss company with its data centre in Switzerland. Prices are not on the website. You request a quote and set the system up with Calenso's team.
That suits companies with several locations or special processes. For one person who wants to start today, going through a quote is rather heavy.
cituro: solid, in euros
cituro is a booking system from Germany that explicitly names coaching as a use. Data is kept in German data centres.
Basic costs EUR 17 a month, or EUR 14.45 billed yearly, with one calendar and unlimited bookings. Calendar sync and online payments start with Standard at EUR 25. There is no free plan, but a 14-day trial.
SimplyBook.me: free with a cap
SimplyBook.me is an international provider based in Cyprus. The free plan allows 50 bookings a month for one person. For many coaches that is enough.
Basic costs EUR 11.90 a month billed yearly, for 100 bookings. Prices are in euros, and more add-on features need a larger plan.
Zitli: built for Switzerland
Zitli is our own product. It is Swiss appointment booking for the self-employed: a booking page in German, French, Italian and English, calendar sync with Google, Outlook and Apple, video links for Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, and your canton's public holidays blocked from the start. Zitli is a Swiss company, hosted in the EU.
Free costs CHF 0 for one booking page; Pro costs CHF 16 a month including VAT for unlimited pages. Zitli fits less well if you depend on an integration only Calendly has, or want to distribute requests across a team.
How to decide
Count your appointment types. With just one, Calendly and Zitli stay free, and SimplyBook.me up to 50 bookings a month. Once there are several you pay everywhere, and then currency and language decide.
If you work mostly internationally, Calendly serves you well. If your clients are in Switzerland, you want to pay in francs and do not want to maintain canton holidays by hand, try Zitli. Test two providers with a real booking before you put your link everywhere.
